Shaving Product Review - Saponificio Varesino "Tundra Artica"

For today's SOTD I dusted off two "neglected" pieces of hardware and ran with Saponificio Varesino Tundra Artica #soap and #aftershave for an incredibly plush, smooth shave. Yes!

I've reviewed Tundra Artica in-depth previously, and I won't say much here. Suffice to say, it's always a pleasure. In fact, anything by #SapVaresino are just such good performers. Tundra Artica is no exception, and it's the second latest product release from them (Cosmo being the latest). As expected, the ingredient list is literally unlike anything else available today and the performance seems to bear that out. Loads of super plush lather that's tops in cushion, glide and post-shave face feel with a matching aftershave that thoroughly moisturizes and heals the skin. If you have everything else and/or never tried SV before - I've said it before and I'll say it again - get some.

Hardware today consisted of two "neglected" items from the den. Last night I thoroughly cleaned my #Merkur #Futur razor, which I haven't used since July 13th apparently. I dropped in a fresh #PolSilver blade from my recent purchase of 100 (with 400 more on the way because they're being discontinued) and left it on the lowest setting. It was ridiculously smooth. I was actually a little surprised and wondering if something wasn't wrong. For the longest time, this was my favorite razor and in a lot of ways, still is. The other piece of hardware is the Semogue Owner's Club a.k.a. #SOC brush. I haven't used this bad boy since September 19th. The delicious lather was whipped up and contained in the #GTP scuttle.
