Shaving Product Review - Saponificio Varesino "70th Anniversary" and
Georgio Armani "Acqua di Gio"
Nothing gets me moister than an oyster like Saponificio Varesino 70th Anniversary #soap and #aftershave chased with Acqua di Gio #EdT and #deo to start another Monday SOTD!
Ticking all of the boxes this morning is a swank combo of and ... And nothing is swanker than the #SapVaresino 70th Anniversary soap and balm! There's just something about this stuff. From the extremely soft, cushiony lather to the truly outstanding moisturizing properties of both. Of course, you've heard me rave about this stuff before so I won't get into it again. Same with the Acqua di Gio deo and EdT.
Since I had a weekend's worth of growth to mow down, I reached for one razor that does it perhaps better and smoother than anything out there - my #Merkur #Futur razor. I popped in a fresh #PolSilver blade and it was good to go. The suds were handled by the #Dovo silvertip badger brush and #GTP scuttle. Incredibly close, comfortable, BBS shave and the plushness of the lather takes on extra swank with a real silvertip badger brush. I love my synthetics, but there's something about 'em... The extra heat and water are noticeable.
Today I'm getting a #MailCall carrying a spare Merkur Futur (also in matte chrome) thanks to a recent Massdrop. Why? Because I never want to be without one! It's my favorite razor.
Truly a shave of the Gods! This may become my new Monday morning ritual as nothing chases away a case of the Mondays like a good setup. If you haven't tried an soap yet, I really urge you to do so - especially this one. I'm going to pick up another tub of it myself because honestly, I never want to be without it, either. Who knows, maybe this time the tin will survive shipping... :D
