Shaving Product Review - Saponificio Varesino "Tundra Artica"
As a tribute to the rather chilly weather as of late... Saponificio Varesino Tundra Artica #soap and #aftershave immediately came to mind!
I've actually done both a first impression and an in-depth review of Tundra Artica from #sapvaresino before, so I won't really get into it today. Definitely check out those two posts and see why I hold their software in such high regard.
Hardware for today consisted of my silver #StandardRazors razor with a #PolSilver blade on shave two, while the #SOC brush (which I haven't used in what seems an age) had its way with the super plush lather in the #GTP scuttle. It's funny, ever since my very first experience of applying Saponificio Varesino lather to my face... It's still a little amazing each time. There's just something about it that makes you think, "wow." On a side note, you'll notice that I've bound the brush with an old hair tie. I do this from time to time to reign in the blooming of the brush (which can get fairly wild after a while). Basically let it sit that way while you're at work and give it a fluff in the evening to finish drying. The bristles will be mostly straight and you'll get some backbone back. Also, a smaller brush footprint will mean more control of the lather on your face. It's temporary, but easy to do occasionally!
If you haven't tried any yet - what are you waiting for? I'm actually hoping to put something special together with Saponificio Varesino shortly... Stay tuned for details!
