Shaving Product Review - Tabac "Original" and
Tabac "Gentle Men's Care" and
Tabac "Man"

Tabac, Tabac, Tabac! I was feeling a little cRaZy today and went with three great Tabac products; one from each line... Original, Gentle Men's Care and Man for #soap, #balm and #EdT, respectively.

What can I say - Tabac makes some fantastic products, and though each line has a unique accord, the scents work fairly well together. The performance of all concerned is a given. The best part is, in Germany (where I get all my Tabac products) it's a drug and chain store brand - it's fairly inexpensive and ubiquitous. I won't review these products here, but for plenty of information, I'd simply hit the #Tabac hashtag for all related posts on this site... Or look to the right for related shaves.

Hardware of course fell to other Germany products, including the #Dovo silvertip badger brush and #Merkur #Futur razor, fitted with a #PolSilver blade on shave four (dialed down to a comfortable "pre-1" setting). Nice and close shave; effortless. The #GTP scuttle kept the voluminous lather in check and warm.

It's hard to beat any of the Tabac products. Sure, the original scent might not be everyone's cup of tea (though it is by and large a huge favorite of many). The performance cannot be argued. The soap produces tons of slick lather that seems to shave closer than most, at least for me. The aftershaves and balms work quite nicely, and the scents rather robust. Longevity varies a bit, but you can count on at least a few hours each. Good stuff.
