L&L and CL

Shaving Product Review - L&L Grooming "TSM Fougére" and
Chatillon Lux "TSM Fougére"

I recently picked up the missing Chatillon Lux #aftershave to join the L&L Grooming soap I picked up earlier - both of the same name - TSM Fougére!

As I mentioned, I already had the soap from #landlgrooming and did an extensive review of the scent already. I recently picked up the matching aftershave from #chatillonlux to complete the set. Like the soap, it too bears the name - TSM Fougére. It was (another) collaboration between the two artisans, and frankly - anytime this happens, it's a wonderful thing. Some of the best soap paired with some of the best aftershave products currently available and in scents that are typically unique, complex and intoxicating.

The aftershave itself (also available as a toner and a salve) is typical Chatillon Lux - just fantastic. It goes on smoothly, absorbs quickly and has just enough menthol to cool things down a bit. The scent strength is on the stronger side of medium and has very good longevity of four hours or more (and I can even smell it in the shower the next day, briefly). The face feel is also typical of the brand; just superb.

Hardware today consisted of my raw #StandardRazors razor fitted with a #PolSilver on shave four while the #SOC brush whipped up the awesome lather. I prefer this brush with L&L Grooming soaps since they're quite soft and can be a little goopy to load if the brush is too dry... It doesn't faze the #SOC one bit! The #GTP scuttle kept everything contained and warm.

Fantastic shave with two equally fantastic products. I've said it before and I'll say it again - either of them is worthy of checking out, and when they collaborate... Really good things happen. I totally waffled on their Champs de Levande collaboration as I wasn't so familiar with either - and I totally regret that decision. Needless to say, that will not happen again!
