Sandalwood, sandalwood and MOAR sandalwood courtesy of Wet Shaving Products Sandalwood #soap Chatillon Lux Santal Auster #aftershave!

This creamy, sultry sandalwood is an homage to the 19th century Saint Louis men who could afford the luxury of a shave from the highest quality steel in the globe. Shaw’s legacy may be rooted in his history of philanthropy and botany, but his contribution to the fashion and style of Saint Louis is highly underrated.

Not sure why, but I had me a real hankerin' for sandalwood today. The #wsp_shaving Sandalwood soap seems to come up often around here these days. It's a great base for pairing with things like #chatillonlux Santal Auster as I did today. I won't get into them today, as I've reviewed Sandalwood soap and reviewed Santal Auster previously. That latter one is a must read, if you haven't already. Both are really choice products, and for a nominal amount, IMO. The price/performance ratio is well on the high side here. My only wish is that Santal Auster had a matching EdT like Rose Santal does... That latter juice is just bold - with incredible longevity.

Hardware today was the #TimelessRazor "aggressive edition" with a RazoRock Halo handle as befitting a Monday morning shave, with a #PolSilver on shave three. The brush is from #ThatDarnRob that I debuted on Friday and has the unmistakable look of a brewski in mid-pour. The #GTP scuttle made sure the suds were warm and the sandalwood scents filled the bathroom.

I love me some sandalwood - and these two products rank high. If you're a fan I would definitely suggest being on the hunt for some of that Santal Auster especially. It's a true connoisseur's brew.
