Shaving Product Review - Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements "Otra"

Another one of the new #PAA scents from last week's epic #MailCall (http://tinyurl.com/ntcgd3u) - featured in last night's #SOTN... Otra!

In the bottle, Otra smells of a floral alcohol. Once applied, the alcohol disappears and it's just floral... Sniffing deeper as it dries down I definitely get a sense of fougére in the background. The mid kicks in with white clover/sage. The more it dries down, the more of a well-rounded "floral" you get. Definitely getting the rose notes towards the base. After a good while, the scent remains but is light; subtle. I think, in the end, it's corn flower that we're left with. The #soap smells similar as does the #deo - so a well-rounded suite! This stuff smells awesome and I predict Otra will also be a hot seller.

As for the hardware, I went with my #Dovo Special 5/8 round tip for my sixth shave with a #str8 and the #BSB Shaving Brush, whipping up the goods in the #GTP scuttle. I'm pretty comfortable with the str8 now, easily able to do my entire face, neck, etc. The results are not perfect, but at least a DFS! I cleaned up a little with the #Mühle #R41 razor only because I wanted a BBS and between the two, I have to say - closest shave, like, ever!
