Shaving Product Review - Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements "(Arctic) Bay Rum"

I DID IT! I DID IT! I DID IT! With this SOTD I was able to shave my entire face and neck with a str8 razor for the first time!

Hardware was the #Dovo Special 5/8 round tip #str8 razor, #BSB Shaving Brush and #GTP scuttle. I gave the blade a dozen passes on the fabric strop first, followed by the leather. The gleaming edge was like a mirror. Between getting my chops up to snuff now and a nice edge - the blade was nice and smooth. I even managed two opposing passes on the neck. I used my #Feather AS-D2 for a quick pass to clean up some spots I didn't manage yet, like under the nose and lip. But all-in-all pretty good and all-str8, baby! This was my fourth str8 shave.

The software was #PAA Bay Rum #soap, #deo and Arctic Bay Rum #aftershave. The latter is a real blast! Fire and ice... Made the wifey's nose and eyes water just sitting across the room. Love it.

What a momentous shave! Woohoo!
