Breaking out the Mühle R41 and some JabonMan a.k.a. Eufros called Brisa de Oriente (East Breeze) in #soap and #balm for some warm, spicy smoothness!

A while ago I did an in-depth review of Rosas from the older Regular Line. Today's offering is the latest formula, and considered the Premium Line. I did an in-depth review of Brisa de Oriente before as well as an in-depth review of Dama de Noche as well. Definitely check out all of these posts for a background of the artisan and information on the offerings past and present, as well as performance of the soap and balm. The tl;dr version is, "amazing stuff - get some."

After doing an in-depth review of the Tatara Razors Masamune razor after using it for the last week straight, it was time to mix it up. I broke out my trusty ol' #Mühle #R41 with a twice-used #Voskhod blade (today being the third shave on it) and went to town. I just had a real hankerin' for something close... Which of course, it did not disappoint. Super close BBS shave. I'm still totally on the fence about these blades though. In two different razors, even from brand new - they seemed a bit "draggy." It's not that they pulled, but they weren't effortless cutters either. More testing is needed...

The brush is a lovely piece from #LowbornSupply sporting a 24mm BOSS knot in black and white, which seemed to fit the theme today. The #GTP scuttle did its usual level best; keeping the lather nice and warm.

A lovely shave to mix things up a bit today. Stay tuned for some new software in the coming days!
