Shaving Product Review - Saponificio Varesino "Cosmo"
For a shave that's out of this world, be sure to hit up Saponificio Varesino Cosmo #soap and #aftershave cosmo, err, combo!
I've done an extensive review of Cosmo before, so no repeats today. But it's worth repeating... Suffice to say, I've raved about #SapVaresino products for quite some time now, and Cosmo is certainly no exception to this. What more can I add, other than praise?
Let's talk about people's perception. A lot of people say Saponificio Varesino is "expensive." On the face of it, perhaps. Keep in mind that most people's exposure to it is through their favorite vendor(s). They have a certain overhead to account for, not to mention the shipping... And if you go to the website of Saponificio Varesino you'll notice something odd. The products are, IMO, very reasonably priced! Like ordering from Martin de Candre (out of Paris, France) the shipping is what kills it at the end of the day.
I'll let you in on a little secret. Ssshhh! Don't tell anyone. Get a buddy (or several) in on an order, and order it all in one fell swoop - directly. The shipping will be somewhat pricey - but now you're dividing it up across however many people are ordering. Granted, this will take one person to be "the middleman" here, to receive the package - and then send the goodies out to everyone. But trust me on this; you'll all come out ahead. Not only is the shipping much more reasonable, the overall value proposition goes up.
Hardware for today's shaving adventure includes the #Mühle #R89 razor with a #PolSilver blade and the sudsing task fell to the #BSB Shaving Brush - the trusty sidekick, the #GTP scuttle, kept things awesome.
Okay, so not so much about the product - but a way to get awesome Saponificio Varesino software for cheap. If you're not a hoarder like me when it comes to this stuff, maybe buying the one-off at your favorite vendor isn't so bad. Suck it up and try it, then if you want more - scroll up...
