Shaving Product Review - Tallow + Steel "Dark" and
Laila "Geir Ness"

A Canadian SOTD by way of Tallow + Steel Dark #soap and #aftershave filled with notes of coffee, cocoa, vetiver, ginger and benzoin!

I've done an extensive review of #tallowandsteel Dark before as well as a first impression so definitely check those out. Nothing new to report; the shave was lovely and smooth and the aftershave calmed, soothed and moisturized! Now that the weather isn't hot and humid, the aftershave goes on quite nicely; no tackiness whatsoever. Strong, manly. That is the scent of Dark. As noted previously, the scent doesn't last too long for me unfortunately, so I amped it up with #GeirNess #EdP.

Hardware today included the #StandardRazors razor with a fresh #PolSilver blade, #BSB Shaving Brush and #GTP scuttle. Yes, I caved. I just couldn't do the Mühle R41 another day in a row. It's smooth, it's close - but it's just too much. I get a shave that's just about as close with this one (maybe even more so because I tread lightly with the R41 on successive days). It's a fantastic razor without equal on Monday mornings where mowing down a whole bunch of growth is the order of the day... But I'll leave the daily to a more moderate cleaver.
