Shaving Product Review - L&L Grooming "After the Rain"
Rain, rain, go away... Not this stuff - it can stay! The excellent performance of L&L Grooming After the Rain #soap and #aftershave has only a few minor negatives.
I did a deep-dive in a review of After the Rain before, so there's not too much to add - except a couple of observations - and a tip. The tip is to use a stiffer brush with slightly cooler water when loading up #landlgrooming soaps. This way the soap won't get too goopy on you. The stiffer brush will handle it better than softer ones (I prefer my #SOC). As for observations, just two, and minor negatives on an otherwise sterling product (and indeed the entire lineup of theirs). First is the scent strength, which I've mentioned was on the weaker, shorter-lived side with this scent. Regardless, the important thing here, is that performance of both the soap and aftershave is definitely top-tier. Second, is the labels. They're not waterproof and any moisture; water or aftershave - will mar the labels. Indeed, if you have wet hands, the labels will feel sticky. Why I bring this up is because as of March 21, 2017...
All newly produced stock will have waterproof labels.
Hardware today included the #StandardRazors razor in the natural, raw aluminum color with a #PolSilver blade while the aforementioned #SOC brush did a plum job of loading and lathering the suds in the #GTP scuttle.
I love days when I get to use L&L Grooming products. They're just so performant. Great lather, face feel, scents... I definitely recommend any of them.
