Shaving Product Review - Through the Fire Fine Craft "Sucker Punch" and
L'Occitane en Provence "Eau des Baux"

There's just something about citrus scents in the winter that seem to lift your spirits. Few do it better than Through the Fire Fine Craft Sucker Punch #soap - with a L'Occitane en Provence Eau des Baux #balm, #EdT and #deo finish.

I grabbed this #ttffcrafts soap last July and did a full review of it and since then, I've used it fairly regularly. Perhaps not as much as during the summer months, but there's a lot to be said about using it in the winter... The citrus just lifts your mood regardless of the dark, cold and blustery weather outside. It was also somewhat apropos, since it reminds me of Walt Disney World Epcot Center and the long-gone Horizons pavilion... I'll be back again this summer! But I digress. The performance of this soap is fantastic - loads of thick, creamy and slick lather - with a robust scent strength. It doesn't smell like cleaner, nor is it sweet like candy. It's just a citrus explosion on your face.

I finished off with my go-to these days, and that's #loccitane Eau des Baux with a full suite of products (well, sans soap) including a balm, EdT and deodorant. Check out my in-depth review of Eau des Baux for the low-down. This stuff is awesome, and highly recommend it. It's a warm, vanillic and woodsy affair that I'd wager a good number of you are into. You can grab it here:

Direct from L'Occitane en Provence:

Or through Amazon (where it's also highly rated) here:

Hardware for the shave at hand included the aptly named #StandardRazors razor with a #PolSilver blade, the #BSB Shaving Brush and #GTP scuttle to keep the citrusy suds warm - and the scent filling the bathroom.
