Shaving Product Review - Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements "Frost Byte" & "Lime Ice Sage"

Talk about a "chiller shave!" With a max humidity of 80% and a feels-like of 91ºF on the table - there was only one choice for today's SOTD! PAA Frost Byte #soap and Lime Ice Sage #aftershave!

The underlying theme in today's software choices is menthol. Lots and lots of menthol. #PAA Frost Byte does not disappoint! Unlike some "one trick ponies" out there, it balances a nice peppermint blast along with the menthol and still performs awesome. It's not just a menthol-or-bust affair, nor does it smell medicinal. Just ice cold goodness! The Lime Ice Sage (get it?) is a full front assault of lime as the menthol kicks in to chill you out. As it dries down the sage base comes on and that's what stays. It's unique and smells great.

The hardware today was my trusty #Merkur #Futur razor with a nice, fresh #Gillette 7 O'clock (black) blade, which made for a close, smooth shave - dependable - and good for the next week of dailies. The #BSB Shaving Brush did the business with the help of the #GTP scuttle and then it was off to the races!

Chillin' like a villain! Two hours later and I'm still feeling brisk. :)
