Experience a summer on Tybee Island, GA with L&L Grooming Southern Paradise #soap and #aftershave combo - complete with peaches, sweet tea and an ocean breeze.
Summertime in the deep south. You're in the car on your way to Tybee Island for a weekend away from the bustle of the big city. You see a billboard for a pick your own peaches farm and can't resist. Peaches in tow, you arrive at your historic cottage on the beach. The owner left a fresh pitcher of sweet tea in the fridge. Tea and peach in hand, you head out to the covered porch and recline on the porch swing, taking deep lungfuls of the fresh ocean air and cracking open your favorite book. Welcome to Southern Paradise.
I've reviewed a lot of #landlgrooming here (now #declarationgrooming) so I won't get into the soap or aftershave performance here. I've done an in-depth review of Southern Paradise last year, shortly after it was released on July 18, 2017. long story short, you can't go wrong with either of these products as they're top tier and perform appropriately. As mentioned, the scent notes are peaches, sweet tea and "ocean."
Hardware for today was the #TimelessRazor #TRBR38 fitted with an #Astra blade on shave five. The brush is a sweet, sweet piece from #WildWestBrushworks called Topaz Mesh sporting a 26mm BOSS knot. The transparent, 3D ribbony resin is amazing in person; the picture does not do it enough justice. Naturally, the #GTP scuttle kept the lather nice and warm throughout.
I haven't used this software combo since August 1, 2017 which is a real shame... Of course, that doesn't mean I haven't thought about it a lot. The result of that is breaking it out today for a long overdue replay! This is some great software that doesn't get enough airtime in general.
