Shaving Product Review - Cold River Soap Works "Colonia Mediterrania" (Oliva)

Today's SOTD is a repeat of a previous one, albeit with a full-sized tin of the awesome new Cold River Soap Works Colonia Mediterrania (Oliva) #soap and some other goodies.

As mentioned, I reviewed both CRSW Colonia Mediterrania and #Tabac Gentle Men's Care previously so I won't repeat that here. I will explain a little though; this is with a regular sized tin of the good stuff and I decided to mix it up with a finish of Acqua di Gio and . Seemed fitting to have a nice, all-Mediterranean vibe going on. I used the balm because it's winter and it's just a good idea. My face thanked me for it!

I'll say it again though; if you haven't tried #coldriversoap Oliva soap - you really should. It's just fantastic. Works great, smells great.

Hardware today included my #Merkur #Futur razor (the only one I took with me to Germany) with a fresh #PolSilver blade... After a bushy weekend's worth of growth I wanted a nice, BBS shave. Mission accomplished! The #BSB Shaving Brush (a.k.a. The Lather Bomb) made quick work of the awesome zudz in the #GTP scuttle. I took the time to even pre-heat the outside of the scuttle, and the lather was noticeable warmer throughout the shave. Almost hot. NICE!

A truly fantastic shave today; BBS all the way and my skin feels super soft, moisturized and nourished. I'm seriously blown away; smooth and silky. Giving your face a rest on the weekends followed up by top tier products is a great way to start any Monday!
