Shaving Product Review - Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements "La Tierra Mojada"

Forgive me, oh me brothers, for I have sinned... It's been 4+ days since my last SOTD. But this one was absolutely EPIC! PAA La Tierra Mojada #soap and #aftershave.

The inspiration came because of an insane, severe thunderstorm that woke me up out of a dead sleep at 5am. The sky was literally, continuously flickering - and I saw a bunch of lightning bolts arc across the width of the horizon. The power blinked out a couple of times, but I was lucky - not to be one of 69,000 that DID lose power!

Let's talk hardware ... I knew I had some ridiculous growth to mow down, so what better a tool than the #Mühle #R41 razor ? I took it apart and cleaned 'er up real nice and popped in a fresh Bulgarian #PolSilver blade . As expected, super smooth and sharp and I could've stopped after the first pass, for a DFS if not close to a BBS! But I did my usual three passes and my face feels truly outstanding - textbook BBS!

I went with the #BSB Shaving Brush if only to compete with all the pics of the Crown King version popping up today. LOL. Naturally, it was a lather bomb!

The software today was #PAA La Tierra Mojada which I picked up recently, but hadn't had a chance to use fully yet. The performance was as expected, and the scent set the stage for the matching #aftershave... That of petrichor and geosmin (or a reasonably facsimile thereof) - the smell of fresh rain on dry earth - with floral overtones. Truly a lovely scent; La Tierra Mojada will be a favorite of mine, I'm sure!

So there you have it gents - freshly shaven and feeling immense!
