A quad-lavender powerhouse scent from Mickey Lee Soapworks called Jefferson Square in a #soap and #aftershave - and a comparison between the Timeless Razor stainless and bronze razors!

Ahhh, lavender... I love me some o' the purple stuff! Jefferson Square by #mickeyleesoaps is a good one, featuring no less than four different types of lavenders (English lavender, spike lavender, topped lavender and lavandin grosso). I won't get into it today, rather check out my in-depth review of Jefferson Square which really deconstructs the scent, along with a follow-up report on Jefferson Square (along with L'Occitane de Provence Eau de L'Occitan).

Today I switched (back) to the #TimelessRazor in a modified "mild edition" from what you may be used to seeing here - I used the scalloped cap, so as to match the TRBR38 bronze razor for an apples-to-apples comparison with yesterday's shave as both have fresh #PolSilver blades and one day of growth to shave. One caveat; this razor has a titanium #Stork handle, so a bit lighter - but the same dimensions as the bronze.

The .68mm stainless steel won readily, but not as much as I remembered/expected. I'd place the results in between three days and two days growth with the bronze (but closer to the latter). That is, there's stubble along the jawline but the rest of the face is good. So take this as the final word on my original in-depth report of the Timeless Razor TRBR38 razor... As a daily driver, the .68mm stainless steel works better all around than the .38mm bronze razor with one day's growth. But If you don't shave every day, they're about equal I'd say.

The brush is a recent piece from #WildWestBrushworks and called Space. It features silver and purple and makes for a fetching combination with the 24mm Tuxedo knot... Which handles loading and lathering beautifully (as does the 26mm in the blue, white and black brush). The nice, long handle makes for easy and comfortable scuttle lathering in the #GTP scuttle. A real nice one, and the craftsmanship is flawless.

A very nice "purple" shave all around today and interesting results comparing yesterday's shave with today's as far as the two Timeless Razor models go. I'm done testing it, the results are in - while the razor is awesome in general, the efficiency doesn't do it for me. While it's great for Monday mornings, I use the .95mm gap stainless steel razor for that - and will continue to use the .68mm gap stainless steel razor as a daily driver. And now, the wait for more aggressive base plate options...
