Shaving Product Review - Barrister and Mann "Le Grand Chypre"

Today's SOTD with the awesome sauce that is Barrister and Mann Le Grand Chypre #soap and #aftershave!

I did a fairly extensive #MailCall (http://tinyurl.com/nu9xm5x) and review (http://tinyurl.com/ho2s43n) of Le Grand Chypre so I won't repeat that here. Basically the same awesomeness. :)

For the fans, it is confirmed that Le Grand Chypre will become a permanent addition to the B&M line!

I will also throw in a cautionary tale for today. As I was putting the fresh blade in the razor, trying to hold down the shim while putting the top cap back on... It happened. Either it went sideways or I squeezed a little or both - either way, for the first time since I started DE shaving, a blade bit me! Right on the side/tip of my middle finger, and I felt it go in. Don't you hate that? Anyway, moral of the story is that if you're not wearing your glasses and/or in a hurry while dealing with fidgety things... Do not handle razor blades. Finally found a usable Band-Aid and went about my business.

Hardware today consisted of my shimmed #Feather AS-D2 razor with a fresh #Feather blade and #BSB Shaving Brush to whip up the goods in the #GTP scuttle.
