Shaving Product Review - Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements "Mal Pais"

Ever totally space that you had a particular product? Sometimes the inspiration for a SOTD just comes out of nowhere. Well, I forgot I had this PAA Mal Pais soap...

I knew I had the #aftershave but totally forgot about the #soap, LOL. I was going through a previous #MailCall (http://tinyurl.com/pcrkeon) and I saw the Mal Pais soap/aftershave (http://tinyurl.com/ntcgd3u) and was like, "hmmm..." I dug for the tin, found and opened it - and it was clearly used before. Later I found my review (http://tinyurl.com/pswb9pf). LOL! So that's my software for today - awesome!

For the hardware it only seemed fitting to go with the #SOC brush because of its wood handle. C'mon, work with me here... The #GTP scuttle kept the horses on the pasture and my torrid love affair with the #Mühle #R89 continues unabated. Man, I love this razor! It can do no wrong. Every day, consistently, I've gotten a smooth, effortless BBS- shave with it. While it's mild, it's really, really efficient. You'd be fooled after the first pass, maybe the second... But after the third, the stubble is just GONE. Last night I was actually marveling at how the 5 O'clock shadow didn't come around until more like 8-9 O'clock.

Smelling like cedar and leather with a badass shave, pardners! The Mal Pais scent is more like a luxe cologne and I didn't find the soap scent to be weak/mild - more like, "subtle."
